Cool Cleveland

A few weeks ago I was honored to start a creative relationship with Cool Cleveland, a very fine e-newsletter, on-line magazine and blog that reports on and celebrates Cleveland.  I respect their work and have used them personally as a go-to source for events and information for years.  Part of their appeal is that they stray from the common path and provide community insight that you may not see elsewhere.  They have great appreciation for the arts and a true love for our City.  So, I was thrilled to contribute.  It's a great match!

The photo shown above is one of my favorites because it's a picture of Suite Lorain (The Vintage Department Store).  This place is one of the reasons I fell in love with Cleveland.  It's mid-century bizarre and beautiful.  Everything you've ever wanted or [didn't] need from the 50s, 60s, and 70s.  (Ugh, are the 70s "vintage" already?)

The links below will take you to other CC issues where my photos have been selected to accompany the lead message written by founder Thomas Mulready.   It's a great pleasure working with these folks and I hope it continues for a long long time.   I'll keep adding links to this post as my pictures are used.

In the meantime, sign-up for the newsletter or friend them on Facebook.  They're a great resource for local information!

  1. Kudos on hooking up with Cool Cleveland. Now if you could get an opportunity to incorporate your writing prowess with your photos at C.C. then who knows! Photo-journalist for the Plain Dealer?...

  2. Congrats!!! I'm so very proud of you - and so happy to have had the opportunity to watch you grow in this genre. You make me smile E-Girl.
