Gastronomical Galavanting

Eating on vacation was like getting a warm dough-y hug from your grandmother 3 times (or more) a day.  Their secret... Fresh daily everything. Make the bread and the pasta today.  Pick the veggies and herbs today.  Eat the food today.  Simple.  Uncomplicated.  Traditional.  Heaven.

Oh, and wine with every meal except breakfast.  You have Bellinis with breakfast (duh).

  1. What I miss most about my 20 years of marriage - my mother-in-law's pure Italian cooking. Nothing since has compared.
